There are few legislations and Acts which will be affected by the implementation of the new framework
The Higher Education Act, FET Act, Skills Development Act and SAQA Act.
All the amendment bills for these acts have been signed by the president

The Skills Development Act Amendment Bill introduces the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO)
FET Act Amendment Bill provides the basis for cooperation between Umalusi and QCTO.
The Higher Education Act Amendment Bill provides the basis for cooperation between CHE and QCTO
SAQA Act Amendment Bill provides the basis for cooperation between SAQA, CHE , FETand QCTO
