Each hour in front of a television increases a child's chance of attention deficit disorder (ADD) by 10%.
The study of 1345 children showed three hours of TV a day made children 30% more likely to have the disorder.

3. Trouble at School
Tv can cause the developing mind to experience unnatural levels of stimulation.
The child expects these simulations to happen later in life.It leads to difficulty dealing with school and homework.

4. Violent Behavior
Thousands of studies since the 1950's have asked whether there is a link between media violence and violent behavior.
All but a few answered yes. Tv violence causes children to mimic the behavior shown on television.

5. Healthy habits
Though TV has its troubled affects, it can also be helpful.
Shows like Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer, and other kid shows encourage children to have healthy eating habits.
Dora also encourages kids to get up and exercise.

6. Educational
Tv can also educate young children. Television can teach a child the alphabet, numbers, and life lessons.
Television shows like Barney, teach kids how to make friends. It also shows how to solve arguments between friends.

7. They can also stay informed on current events by watching the news.
Parents Enjoyment
Tv doesn't just benefit children. Adults can also enjoy television shows like soap operas.
They can also stay informed on current events by watching the news.

8. Students Opinion
Rasharra: If you asked me I think that television is a good thing. Students can learn and benefit from educational show. While parents can also be entertained.
Jakyrah: I think television is a bad influence on kids. Television gets kids distracted from their homework. I think kids are likely to fall behind in school due to the fact that they watch so many hours of television.
