First time a user logs in to a unique devide When authentication has expired When a computer is re-imaged After three failed login attempts When the Forgot Password is initiated Code can be delivered via Text message Tax-Aide Policies and Procedures – TY2017

3 Requirements E-mail Must be unique to user (no shared emails)
Must be accessible from site Home computer should not use function that removes s from server (i.e. Thunderbird) Can be used at multiple sites Tax-Aide Policies and Procedures – TY2017

Cell phone number must be unique to user (no shared phones) Requires cell phone service at site Can be used at multiple sites Tax-Aide Policies and Procedures – TY2017

5 Setting Up Users Returning counselors will complete Account Update when they log on Username – pre-filled, cannot be changed Cell Phone Confirm Cell Phone Confirm Password Confirm password Also updates password Anyone with Admin privileges can update and phone Tax-Aide Policies and Procedures – TY2017

9 MFA and Cookies Recent post on T-VOG states that MFA info might be stored as a cookie Makes sense despite TaxSlayer denial Apparently clearing cookies requires authentication the next time user logs on Might reconsider automatically clearing cache if your district does it Tax-Aide Policies and Procedures – TY2017
