3. Addition and Subtraction of a Positive Integer
When you add a positive integer, move to the right along the number line

4. Addition and Subtraction of a Negative Integer
Adding a negative integer to another integer means you move to the left on the number line

5. Examples 4 + 3 = 7 2 – (-7) = 2 - - 7 = 2 + 7 = 9

The product of two positive numbers is positive
The product of a negative number and a positive number is a negative number
