Digital Technology and Innovation- the numbers
The empowerement of several roles and the enhancement of relevant competencies are predicted to occur within major organizations, in the next 5 years. In ICT the number of resources is expected to grow by 17%, while in governance roles by 14%. Among the identified priorities, concerning the organizational challenge, there are the Innovation Management, up to the 49%, and the Demand Management, up to 34%. The Observatory of the School of Management, Politecnico di Milano, run a research for the Innovation Academy on a representative sample of CIOs of medium and big enterprises. The aim was to demonstrate how today the role of the Digital Technology and Innovation is acquiring relevance in the competitive landscape.
