5 Religious Focus Activities
Gyaan Saathe Gammat Kids learn Jainism with short stories and games, such as "Red Light, Green Light" and "Four Corners". Gyan Pancham To teach kids the importance of worshipping knowledge, we organize a Gyan Pancham puja every year, where the entire pathshala, from teachers to kids to parents, participate. Adult Pathshala While kids attend regular Pathshala classes, we conduct adult Pathshala classes to encourage more parents and other adults to learn about Jainism Puja (Hands on Practice) Teachers go beyond the textbook and bring the topic of Ashtaprakari Puja to life by demonstrating and having students practice puja in the temple. Students from all sects of Jainism participate. JAB Preparation Kids of all ages are encouraged to participate in enrichment activities that will help them later on for future JAB competitions. Samvatsari Pratikraman for Kids in English On Samvatsari day, to encourage more kids to participate, we hold an English Pratikraman. Mahavir Janma Kalyanak Pathshala kids are the center of our program during the Mahavir Janma Kalyanak celebration and spend many months preparing their performances A schedule design for optional periods of time/objectives.

6 Community Focus Activities
Graduation Ceremony Kids take pride in graduation and going to the next class. They feel a sense of accomplishment Outstanding Pathshala Student Award The outstanding student is a role model and an award that is celebrated by the recipient, their family, and the rest of the community PTA (Parent Teacher Association) Parents are eager to be involved and Pathshala only works with Parent support. By establishing a PTA, we enable better communication and more feedback Graduate Students Teach Overall, JSMW efforts are working because students are returning to give back to their community Bi-Weekly Newsletter JSMW has adopted the preferred means of communication. People like receiving reminders and updates within their DC Soup Kitchen This annual activity gives students a hands-on example of how Jainism applies in today's world Halloween Dress Up Pathshala Picture Day Annual Day Party Students enjoy celebrating with their friends on holidays. These activities create an environment that embraces friendships.
