10 John 1:29-37 II. Exhortation

11 A. Christ Jesus is our Passover Lamb
1 Cor 5:7 ;Bug Workaround; When God said, “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3), he meant for it to allow us to see the created world with our eyes. When God sent the Light of the World (Jesus), he did it so we could see God with our hearts and souls. We can also see good and bad in our world and in our lives because the Light shines in the darkness.

12 B. Christ Died in My Place
1 Jn 2:2 1 Jn 3:5 1 Jn 4:10 Verse 5 points out that darkness cannot overcome the Light. This means no matter what Satan and the world try to do, we can’t be defeated if we’re on Jesus’ side. The Light is so evident that no matter how dark the world is, no matter how much anybody tries to hide in sin, the Light exposes the bad and always overcomes the dark parts of our lives.
