BBC Home Here you have the main white board, where both the instructor and student can write in real time. Here you have the main camera window. If you want to see people in the room they have the option of turning their camera on; however, it is not a necessity. Here you have the participant window. This is where you can see all of the people who are currently in the room as well as the moderator options. Here is the chat box, where participants can actively talk to each other without interrupting the instructor/moderator.

Other Modes (moderator only)
Whiteboard mode- The main mode for Blackboard Collaborate, which allows anyone in the room to write in real time. Application Sharing mode- This is mainly used for sharing your desktop screen; however, be aware that this mode slows down everybody's FPS (frames per second).
