2 Exploring Skin Observe the back of your hand with the lens.
Hold your hand out, I will place a drop of water on the back of your hand. Make observations. Tilt your hand, what do you observe now?

3 Exploring Skin Answer the following questions:
What happens when you place the drop of water on the back of your hand? What happens to the water when you tilt your hand? Is the water absorbed by the skin? Why do you think the water is not absorbed by the skin? Does water ever exit the body through the skin?
