4. License Agreement
PLEASE READ THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT ("LICENSE") CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT. BY USING THIS PRODUCT, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT.
1. Grant of Single-User License. YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON ENTITLED TO USE THIS PRODUCT. This is a license agreement between you (an individual) and Lauren Anderson whereby Lauren Anderson grants you the non-exclusive and non-transferable license and right to use this product and accompanying documentation (collectively the “Product”). ONLY YOU (AND NO ONE ELSE) ARE ENTITLED TO DOWNLOAD, USE, OR COPY THE PRODUCT. Lauren Anderson continues to own the Product, and the Product is protected by copyright and other state and federal intellectual property laws. All rights, title, interest, and all copyrights in and to the Product and any copy made by you remain with Lauren Anderson. Unauthorized copying of the Product, or failure to comply with this Agreement will result in automatic termination of this license, and will entitle Lauren Anderson to pursue other legal remedies.
IMPORTANT, under the terms of this Agreement:
YOU MAY: use the Product to help the students assigned to your classroom only.
YOU MAY NOT: (a) modify, translate, create a derivative work of, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer or distribute the Product to any other person or entity without the prior written consent of Lauren Anderson (and any attempt to do so shall be void); (b) allow any other person or entity to use the Product (with the exception of your students) (c) remove or cover any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Product; (d) post the Product to any webpage, blog, store, or social media tool.
