ORGANISE YOUR ESSAY: Structure
INTRODUCTION: The subject or topic. A statement of the problem etc. Comments on the way it is to be treated. DEVELOPMENT: Presentation, analysis, discussion ( eg comments on ’advantages’ and ’disadvantages’ ) CONCLUSION: Perhaps a summary of the main points in 2. Own views/ opinions and decisions

THE BASIC STRUCTURE INTRODUCTION: Present your reader briefly what you are going to discuss and how you have structured your discussion BODY: Your message = your argument(s) and supporting ideas CONCLUSION: Summarizes the main point(s) or adds personal opinions, predictions, but does not raise any new points
