6 DEFINITION OF ISLAM Islam, is not a new religion, but the same truth That god revealed Through All his prophets to every people. For a fifth of the world’s population, islam is both a religion and a complete way of life. Muslim follow a religion of peace, mercy and forgiveness and the majority have Nothing to do with the extremly grave events which have come to be associated with their faith.

7 ISLAMIC BELIEF Beliefs are very important in Islam. To be considered a Muslim, one must believe and recite a statement of faith known as the Shahada: "There is no God but God, and Muhammad is his Prophet.

8 ALLAH In the religion of Islam, belief in Allah is the single most important tenet. The Muslim name for God is "Allah,"

9 What is Jihad Islam defines jihad as striving and syruggling for improvement as well as fightimg back to defend one’s self, honor, assets, and homeland.also jihad is interpreted as the struggle against evil, internal or external of a person as a society.

10 Kinds ofJihad Learn teach and practise islam in all aspects of one’s life at all times to reach the highest and best education in order to benefit oneself, family and society. Be a messenger of islam everywhere in every behavior and action. Respond to the call for jihad With effort, wisdom and life.yet never fight a muslim brother, a muslim country or a non- muslim society that Respects its treaties and harbors no aggressive designs against islam or muslims.

11 Difference between Jihad and Terrorism
Jihad is limited to combatants while terrorism involves indiscriminate killing of civillians. Jihad, when the need arises is declared openly while terrorism is committed secretly. Jihad is bound by strict rules of islam of islamic manners while terrorism is not bound by any rules.

12 All terrorists are muslims ?
Terrorists are not muslims. They think they are .they fight in the name of islam when they have yet to see beauty of it. Suicide under any pretext is not condoned as jihad in islam. Converting people to islam by force or Coercion is never Jihad but a crime , punishable by law. There is a difference between a muslim terrorist and muslim that is not a terrorist.

13 Modus oprandi of islamic states and terrorist attacks
If the Western democracies used the same modus operandi as the Islamic terrorists, even for one day, the Jihad would be completely blotted out. If we used the same tactics against them that they use against us, even for just three hours, their Jihad would be stopped for a thousand years. Clearly, our civilization operates with a different set of standards and values regarding respect for human life. The terrible truth is that our higher sensibilities are also our greatest weakness in this war we have been thrust into.

14 Financing Terrorist financing provides funds for terrorist activity. It may involve funds raised from legitimate sources, such as personal donations and profits from businesses and charitable organizations, as well as from criminal sources, such as the drug trade, the smuggling of weapons and other goods, fraud, kidnapping and extortion.
