Be a profitable business that will provide full service support for proto-type tooling, mass production molds and global tooling.
Scope: Provide our customers with a variety of manufacturing solutions. Our core values are to manufacture on time, reliable, and cost competitive tooling for our customers. Provide domestic and global sourcing options to meet cost targets and schedules. Also, provide a service center for globally built tooling to insure customer satisfaction.
Description: Trifecta Tool & Engineering LLC. main focus is to support suppliers in the plastic manufacturing industry in North America and globally. We produce a variety of tooling, fixtures and molds in North America. We also when required support global tool sourcing with communication, tracking, and maturation support in Ohio and in Asia. The global sourcing strategy is to leverage our connections and technical agreements with our Asian partners to provide quality cost effective options for our customers.

3. All Asian partners have “stand alone” design centers as well as design support from Trifecta.
Our Asian partners can support all design software packages including Catia.
Certified Analysis is available including mold flow, cooling, warping, and mold venting.
Trifecta provides build specification to Asian partners and requires design reviews at 50% and 100% completion before “Machine GO” is approved.
Design reviews are completed using a online meeting and/or with Asian partners.

4. Our partners in Asia are experienced in many styles of injection and compression molding.
They can support tooling from 50 ton to 1500 ton capacity for plastic molds.

5. All tooling sourced thru Trifecta is designed and built to our customers standards. Materials and components are purchased from Europe, Japan or North America.
All tooling is project managed from Kettering, Ohio with support from the project manager in Asia. Our Asian partners provide weekly updates and pictures of the tooling’s progress. At the time of final tool completion and/or first part trial our project manager s are able to travel to the tooling manufacturers for tool review and quality confirmation, when requested.

6. Build to Plan Concerns adjustment required Issue with countermeasures
Tool Tracking Schedule is maintained by Trifecta’s sales team with information provided by the Project Manager in Asia. The original schedule is maintained with a black outline. Then the actual schedule identified by a red outline, which is updated weekly with pictures of the molds progress. All activities are defined using a green, yellow & red system. Smart Sheet critical path tracking is also available.

7. All tooling sourced to China is shipped directly to Trifecta Tool for inspection, review and quality confirmation. Tool sampling and maturation are done in China.
Trifecta Tool then supports our customers with design changes, spare and components and start up support .

8. Tooling requiring texture or special surface finishes are completed by Trifecta in North America using customer approved suppliers. Our Asian partners can provide textures after 1st samples, when requested.

9. With our Asian partners Trifecta’s staff reviews and inspects part sample from China document to insure customer’s expectations are met. Samples are then sent to you for final shipping approval.

10. Trifecta Tool uses a “best fit” practice for sourcing tools in Asia.
We choose the tool builders based on there knowledge and our history with each particular vendor.
Trifecta will use our experience to direct the design of the tool to be constructed as if it were built here at Trifecta.
