3. Strategic Goals Holistic and Sustainable Solution – NO Soak Pits
Annual O&M should be minimized and the installed system should be maintainable by the villagers themselves.
Collect, transport and treat all the wastewaters generated.
Build toilet, bathroom, mori for individual homes.
The treated wastewaters should ideally be reusable for irrigation purposes benefiting villagers crops in the summer months.
Villagers to be trained to operate the system.

Villagers agreed to pay Rs per household into a common bank account specifically setup to manage the project.
Any funds received by the villagers from the government for building of Toilets would also be put into this Bank account and not retained by the villagers.
A Sanitation Committee would be setup of villagers to manage these funds.
Household User Charge or Sale of Water for Agriculture (Rates TBD)

10. O&M Costs Approximately 10 Units of power / Day (Rs. 5/Unit)
