- an American best-selling a uthor, journalist, screenwriter, dramatist, radio and television broadcaster and musician.
- Having achieved national recognition for his sports writing in the earlier part of his career.
- He is also well known for his philanthropic work in Detroit, Michigan where he founded
four charities.

Had inserted a catheter to drew the urine out.
He can’t move his legs and head (need others’ help).
Can’t speak for too long without needing a rest.

- a quite man who liked to read his newspaper alone
- never tuck them in, nor kiss them good- night
→ Morrie hopes that no love would be left behind.
