5 District Vision To develop a productive school culture that increases student achievement, develops educator effectiveness and builds public confidence.

6 Challenges we face as we work toward our VISION
New reforms have changed board operations, superintendent responsibilities, and accountability system. Common Core State Standards and PARCC assessments widened the achievement gap for our students and teachers. PARCC assessments has forced school district to update all technology and infrastructure. Students who don’t attend our school district take their MFP dollars with them along with parental support and care. Funding resources are very limited. Although we are a small school system, the work load and responsibilities are the same as larger school districts. Low teacher pay. Low community support and interest in school district.
