A) text-to-text: The Chronicles of Narnia- Both book series contain fictional settings and make-believe creatures with larger-than-life qualities text-to-self: I have hidden somewhere to snoop, and listen to somebody's conversation text-to-world: The book takes contains battle scenes and wars, just like the world today is full of hostility, fighting, and war

D) This book has taught me a little bit about the British culture. The characters in the story speak a little differently, and they use different words for things.

E) The main character, Lyra, and I have cultural differences. For example, she talks differently than i do.

F) In this book, Lyra and I have some similarities. When I was her age, i was curious and adventurous like she is.

G) The fact that people had "daemons" was what i thought was the most interesting part of the book. They were like guardians, but also friendly pets.
