3 The barnacles attach to the whale so they can be moved around to get food. The whale does not appear to be harmed

6 The clownfish is protected by the stinging sea anemone and in return the clownfish scares off fish that would want to eat the anemone. The clownfish also cleans the anemone.

The ants protect the aphids. The aphids drink liquid from the plant and give it to the ants.

Lichen is a fungus growing with green algae. The algae makes food for the fungus. The fungus gives the algae a place to live (habitat).

This Shrimp sets up a cleaning station. Different fish come by so the shrimp can eat the parasites off the fish

17 A tick! They like to suck the blood of other animals.

18 Bacteria live in these nodules (the little round things) on the roots of plants.
The bacteria give nitrogen to the plant from the air. The plant gives the bacteria food.
