Front Mu Point - connects with Back Shu Bl 13 Intersection of Lung and Spleen Meridians - zhong refers to Middle Jiao (Zhong Jiao), the point located where the qi of the SP and ST in the Zhong Jiao gather into the Lung Meridian Location: 6 cun lateral to Ren Mai on the lateral side of the 1st ICS Actions: Disseminates and descendes Lung Qi , alleviates cough, wheezing Transforms phlegm, clears heat and regulates water passges Descends Stomach Qi Indications: All Lung issues especially excess types Head and Sense Organs: nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea, sinusitis, hyposmia, sore throat Respiratory: coughing, wheezing, asthma, fullness of chest, hemoptysis LU disharmonies involving phlegm/heat excess arising from Zhong Jiao - vomitting, difficult indigestion, edema of four limbs, anorexia Shoulder/back pain, goiter, abdominal pain referring to lumbar area Method: ” obliquely toward lateral aspect of chest, moxa -cupping effective for bronchitis and pnemonia

Yun refers to the qi of LU, the point is on the upper part of the chest, serving as a door for the qi of the LU Location: 6 cun lateral to Ren Mai, below the clavicle in the depression medial to the coracoid process Actions: Clears Lung Heat and disseminates and descends LU Qi Dispels anxiety and agitation Drains heat in joints Indications: Along the Meridian: shoulder pain, frozen shoulder, pain in supraclavicular fossa, hypochondriac pain referring to back, coldness of extremities Respiratory: coughing, asthma, pain and fullness of chest, oppression and heat sensation in chest Heat sensation in extremities caused by cold, sudden pain in cardiac region and abdomen, irregular pulse, goiter Method: ” obliquely toward lateral aspect of chest, moxa

Luo-connecting Point - exit point to LI4 Gao Wu Command Point of Head and Posterior Neck Master Pt of the Ren Meridian - coupled with K6/Confluent point of Ren Channel Ma-Dan Yang Heavenly Star Point *“Lie” - arrangement; “Que” - depressiong - lightning and rifts in the clouds were called lieque in ancient times.
