External Environment Speed of Change (income inequality, youth unemployment, jobless growth) Aging populations in several developed countries In the middle of a Digital Revolution Rapid and deep natural resource, weather and water challenges Growing importance of health in the economy United Way Environment Severe competition increasing Millennials engage for different reasons, in different ways Baby Boomer Generation retiring fast than they can be replaced Business Model under pressure We’re living in a historically disruptive time. The scale and speed of change has been remarkable. Today’s issues are highly complex, and they’re global. Youth unemployment (74 million worldwide) Between 2000 and 2050, the world's population over 60 years will have doubled—from 605 million to 2 billion.
