2. Background
The Agricultural University of Tirana (AUT) is the unique center for undergraduate and graduate studies,
scientific research, training and extension in the area of agriculture and food.
Established on November 1st, 1951
Actually it is organized by five faculties: Faculty of Economy and Agribusiness; Faculty of Agriculture and Environment; Faculty of Forestry Sciences; Faculty of Veterinary Medicine; Faculty of Biotechnology and Food,
Number of students about 7800.

ECONOMY & ABRIBUSINESS FACULTY to be a modern center of education, research and knowledge transfer in order to become an integral part of a changing world. Enable graduate students of ‘Economy and Agribusiness’ faculty to contribute with knowledge and professionalism in the areas of agricultural economy, integrated rural development, agribusiness, finance, accounting and marketing management; more over in agro-tourism and rural policies in interest of European integration.
