10. The "Vara" is a “fercolo” about twenty meters high, consists of iron armor and wood decorated with mirrors, multicolored paper and gilding. It is showing the Assumption of Mary into heaven: the basis is the tomb of the Virgin, full of flowers and devoid of his body. A little bit higher there is St. Thomas is praying, almost to swear that faith which had denied to the resurrection of Christ. More higher there is St. Michael and angels of all orders prostrate themselves to the Virgin Mary who is above them under a large crown.

11. On 12 and 13 August each year, in the district San Martino, the Association Sicularagonensia (one of the most interesting reenactment of Sicily, born in Randazzo in 1995 in order to give life to the first edition of the Medieval Festival) organizing two days dedicated to the reenactment of the permanence of Navarra White - Vicar of Sicily from 1409 to in the medieval city of Randazzo.
