3. MI #1: Bernoulli’s Principle
Bernoulli’s Principle state that the pressure in a fluid decreases as the velocity of the fluid increases.
Remember that fluids move from areas of high pressure to areas of low pressure.

The wings of an airplane are designed so that air moves faster over the top of the wing than over the bottom of the wing.
Air below the wing creates lift because it wants to move to the lower pressure above the wing.
