17 USER INTERACTIVES ON A STORY

18 CONTENT ELEMENTS The Restructuring

19 OBSERVATIONS Observations Action to take
The Telugu font is such that it demands a larger font size and space Need to include a functionality to increase/decrease font size. Visitors: A large number of visitors to the site view stories & go to the e-Paper. The exist rate is high & the time spent on the site is low. Most visitors prefer the district/town news on Eenadu Visitors are not rating/commenting/engaging with the content Visitors spend more time reading entertainment news Visitors show a strong preference of images of the day, including archival images Give prominence to district news on the home page & get user visitors to sign-in for downloading/accessing e-paper Need to tag all new and archived stories & decipher the content eco-system (related topics) based on the story. Nurture at least two dedicated bloggers (one guest & one staff) for each section to build conversation and engagement. Need to give more space for entertainment news on the home page Need to have a slideshow on the home page Content: Print version headings are used on the website, such that they are either too long or too short Story lengths are random across sections Too many stories on panels & too many panels give the page a crowded & packed look Need to specify the heading lengths Need to suggest alternatives in displaying/treating stories of varied lengths. In fact, we should a have section called “Snippets” where only short stories are displayed. Need to specify the number of panels to use and the content specifications for each panel
