The Equator AT THE EQUATOR
There are no seasons because each day the Sun strikes at about the same angle. Two conditions: Hot and wet Hot and dry The equator gets about 12 hours of sunlight every day. AT THE EQUATOR

The Poles AT THE POLES The Poles experience only two seasons:
summer winter In summer, when a pole is tilted towards the Sun, there is only daylight (night time is absent). The Poles remain cool because they don’t get any direct sunlight. In winter, when a pole is tilted away from the Sun, there is no daylight at all. AT THE POLES
