4 Major Buildings Devon House Devon House A very popular attraction the Rose Hall Great house was the home of the White Witch Annie Palmer a devious and fiend character in Jamaican folklore. Morant Bay Court House the Morant Bay Court House remains one of Jamaica's most important historic places because of the riots that took place there on October 11, Amidst the British colonization island workers became disgruntled at poor social and economic conditions in Jamaica and began to protest.Which lead to a violent period of Jamaica's history that led to the enforcement of martial law.
