3. Milestone 1 (5 Marks)
Student need to demo to the supervisor their early project progress for their project.
Student also need to submit the report that include:
Changes / modifications from project 1 (if any).
Project 2 milestones.
Finish all the software installation, database creation hardware purchase and installation. This set up need to be shown to your supervisor only.

4. Milestone 2 (10 marks)
Student need to present their current progress of their project to the supervisor only.
Duration around 30 minutes including supervisor comment and QnA session.
The marks for milestone 2 as follow:

5. Milestone 3(65 marks) Can be divided into 3 section: Report (25 marks)
Final Demo (30 marks)

6. Milestone 3(Report) Assessment Marks Report (Supervisor) 15
Student need to submit their report to both supervisor and examiner.
Students need to submit the summary page of Turnitin report that contain less than 40% similarity index.

Total marks come from final report is 25 marks.

7. Milestone 3(Final Demo)
Student need to present their project completed in front supervisor and examiner.
Duration around 30 minutes including QnA session.
Total marks come from final demo is 30 marks.

8. Milestone 3(Final Demo) cont....
Student is required to submit their report and logbook before he/she demo their project in front of both the supervisor and examiner.

9. Milestone (Video)
You is required to have a short video to market your project.
The duration for the video is not more than 3 minutes.
The video need to show the relevant information about your project (current problem, objective, system flow, product demonstration etc.).
Marks for the video is 5 marks.

10. Milestone 3 (Logbook )
You need to record your FYP activity at your logbook.
Get your supervisor signature to verify that you have done the activity.
Student need to submit their logbook to the supervisor
Total marks come from logbook is 5 marks.

11. 1-day Showcase (20 Marks) ALL students need to attend the showcase.
Two (2) or three (3) evaluators will come and evaluate your project.
The average of marks from the evaluators will be added to your current marks(up to 80 marks) to determine your grade.
Evaluator(s) will come anytime between 9.30am – 4.00 pm based on their free time.
Your 20 marks is come from the average evaluators marks.

Example calculation for the grade:
Milestone 1 – 4/5 marks
Milestone 2 – 6/10 marks
Milestone /65 marks
Total(M1+M2+M3) = 60/80 marks
Evaluator 1 – 14/20
Evaluator 2 – 10/20
Evaluator 3 – 12/20
Average = ( )/3 = 12/20 marks
In total you will get 72 marks ( ) and your grade is B+.
You need to show the important information during the showcase (Problem statement, objective, flowchart etc.).

13. Submission
You have to submit all the items below in a CD to the coordinator DURING Final Demo Presentation:
Final Report
Video
Manual on how to execute/install your project
All your codes / programs
Only A and A+ student need to submit one copy or hardcover report to the college.
The hardcopy report need to be submitted ONE WEEK after grade have been announce.

16. Facilities Money allocation
Each of you are allocated RM for buying equipments.
Procedures:
Get form from lab technician.
Fill in the required information.
Get your supervisor to verify.
Bring back the form to lab technician.
The technician will buy the items for you.
Submit the form early.

17. Facilities You CANNOT buy:
Pirated software
Books
Software that is already available in the lab.
Remember that whatever you buy, they belong to the college.
Make sure you return the equipment to the lab technician within one week after showcase end.
Failure to do so may cause your grade to be suspended.

18. Facilities Final year project lab
There is a computer lab dedicated for final year project students.
BW-4-R06.
You can use the lab for:
Research (browsing the Web, etc).
Development.
If you need to install any specific software, please contact the lab technicians.

19. Announcement
Please update your account. Sometimes, we will to you about the interview session, course, advertisement or anything related to you as a final year students.
Download the rubric from the Moodle to know which area you need to focus when demo your project
If you want to change your topic, please discuss with your supervisor and examiner. The approval is come from your supervisor.
