1 Who in Bible history had the greatest wisdom and understanding?
Solomon I Kings 3.6-9,10-14

2 I Kings 10.1-10 News of Solomon’s wealth and wisdom had spread…
The Queen of Sheba was skeptical. In verses 2 & 3 they discussed everything on her heart. Note the peculiar language of verse 5. In verse 8 she would be blessed to be one of his servants: Proverbs 1.1-6, 33; ; 3.2, 8, Like Christ: Luke 11.31

3 “For I want you to know how great a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are Laodicea, and for all those who have not personally seen my face, that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

4 “For I want you to know how great a struggle I have on your behalf and for those who are Laodicea, and for all those who have not personally seen my face, that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

They are “hidden” for us not from us. John 1.14; Romans ; I Corinthians 1.24, 30; Ephesians 3.8-9

12 “I say this so…” (Colossians 2.4)
Don’t seek solutions apart from Christ Jesus. Our hope rests not on an institution, an ideology, a creed, or a council, but in Christ. Look at ALL of Him to find ALL the treasures of wisdom. Isn’t ALL enough?
