4 Acts 1:8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.

When obstacles come, we must deal with them (28:17-22) A. Paul initiated a meeting (28:17-20) Dealing with misunderstanding: We can avoid it and pretend its not there. We can attack the person with whom we have the misunderstanding. We can address it in a way that honors Christ.

Paul’s confidence was the Plan of God (28:24-29) 1. Jewish resistance was foretold 2. Gentile acceptance was foretold 3. What God foretells ALWAYS comes to pass

When the hold ups come, we must remain focused (28:30-31) A. We tend to focus on what we cannot do B. We must focus on what we can do

12 Philippians 1:12-14 12 Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances have turned out for the greater progress of the gospel, 13 so that my imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else, 14 and that most of the brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear.
