2909 Mitchell Boulevard Sarah Burkett, City of Fort Worth

2 Southeast Community Health Center
The City of Fort Worth partnered with a local non-profit, North Texas Area Community Health Centers who owns and operates the Southeast Community Health Center The Health Center opened May 15, 2014 and is easily accessible by the health consumers who need it most. With approximately 20 employees, including 3 doctors, an estimated 4,200 patient visits per doctor are conducted annually. The location of this health center and the healthcare that is provided offer services that low- to moderate income citizens might not otherwise have access to. This facility reduces strain on already overburdened local hospitals by seeing some of the higher-risk patients when pain or illness is not as severe and before they resort to visiting more expensive offices that offer shorter wait times or they incur large emergency room bills.
