Then they will seek a vision from a prophet; But the law will perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders. NKJV

Then I said, 'I will pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.' 9 But I acted for My name's sake, that it should not be profaned before the Gentiles among whom they were, in whose sight I had made Myself known to them, to bring them out of the land of Egypt.

For your people whom you brought out of the land of Egypt have corrupted themselves. 8 "They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. From the day that you departed from the land of Egypt until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against the LORD. 8 "Also in Horeb you provoked the LORD to wrath, so that the LORD was angry enough with you to have destroyed you.
