Size
The most important point about a well fitting shoe is that it is the correct length for the foot.

Slip on shoes

Very flat or high heeled soles
Converse, Vans, stilettos shoes, ballet shoes or any flat or excessive high heeled footwear will give unnecessary strain to the feet.
it is better to have a heel that is 15-20mm (3/4 inch) thicker than the sole under the ball of the foot. This helps the foot and ankle function with less strain.
Narrow or small footwear
Pointy toe box or small sized footwear will cause compression to the forefoot & toes that can cause irritation and deformity .
