1. CUSTOM DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICE
Cobras six step design process provides customers with a simple layout of expectations, outlining each individual step taken in turning their custom concept into a fabricated reality.

2. STEP 1
CONCEPT
The first step in turning a customers idea into a physical product entails the customer presenting us with the details of their desired product.
This can be presented in any of the following forms:
A detailed sketch with product measurements delivered in format.
A consolation with Cobras design specialist where the customer explains their concept and product details are noted in-house.

3. STEP 2 ANALYSIS & REFINEMENT
Once a solid concept has been produced by the customer, the team at Cobra will begin the Analysis and Refinement process.
This process entails an analytical breakdown of the concept i.e. potential complications or shortfalls with the original concept. Once this has occurred and if a refinement is essential Cobra will implement the required modifications and improvements to the original concept. Throughout this process the team at Cobra aim to form a relationship where we collaborate closely with our customers about both analysis and refinement of their concept as we are dedicated to optimizing outcomes for our clients.

4. STEP 3 MANUFACTURERS DESIGN
The term Manufacturer Design represents our initial formal planning process. This plan is generally made up of:
A Scaled Sketch of the concept
A Materials List
A Rough Procedure regarding how the concept is going to be manufactured.
At Cobra our team of manufacturers are also allocated to partake in the Manufacturer Design Process, this ensures we offer our customers a results driven and solutions orientated, personalised design service.

5. STEP 4
CAD/DRAFTING
This step of the process is where the first CAD drawing of the product manufacture commences, once drafting is complete it is passed to the customer for final approval before the product is built.
Cobra Manufacturing uses the latest in CAD software when designing its custom products. Utilizing the expertise that imdrafting services offers in creating 2D drawings for manufacture and detailed 3D models to validate the intent of the finished product.

6. STEP 5 MANUFACTURER ASSISTANCE
At this stage, the drafting for our customer’s concept is complete.
Manufacturer Assistance is basically the building/manufacturing process of the analysed, designed and drafted concept.
Our highly experienced team will be personally manufacturing the customers product. We aim to serve as a trusting advocate during this process and will continue to collaborate with the customer if any potential issues are conceived; therefore ensuring the best possible outcome is achieved.

7. STEP 6
REALITY
Our final step in the design process, at this stage we will have taken our customers concept through to reality.
The fabrication and manufacturing of the product will be completed and is presented to the customer in its physical state.
