6. Key points – Pharma lab gas supply
The majority of analyses in Flavour & fragrance labs with use FID, followed by some MSD detection
Precision will provide all the gases required to support FID detectors and carrier gas
Some labs will already be using H2 or N2 carrier gas from cylinders so look to convert to Precision
Alternative carriers be an option for many analyses, since methods will have been developed in-house.
Some methods may have been in place for a long time, so it will be important to have good arguments in order to persuade labs to convert to hydrogen or nitrogen carrier gas
