High Jump Athletes run and then take off from one foot to jump over a horizontal bar and then fall back onto a cushioned landing area The bar keeps moving up to see who can jump the highest "Little School on the Range" 2016

Long Jump Athletes sprint along a length of track that lead to a jumping board and sandpit They must jump before a marked line and their achieved distance is measured from the nearest point of sand "Little School on the Range" 2016

Pole Vault Athletes take a running start and then use a pole to vault over a bar and land on a cushioned padding The bar keeps moving up to see who can jump over the highest level "Little School on the Range" 2016

Triple Jump It takes place on a track heading towards a sandpit The athletes hop, step, and jump for the longest distance "Little School on the Range" 2016
