2 Challenge Goal (Employer)
Employee Wellbeing is a multifaceted concept that incorporates several components; it's much more than physical health that keeps an employee engaged in his work. An employee coming to work often deals with personal or financial struggles. This added stress can distract for the job responsibilities and obligations. According to SHRM and the McGraw Hill study, workers are now looking to employers for help in managing the overall financial wellness. Promote the Financial Wellbeing Challenge to endorse proactive choices and offer suggestions that lead mindful, responsible planning and spending habits.

3 Instructions (Employer)
Identify the dates of the Financial Challenge Review list of Financial activities – add and edit activities to fit your population. Promote the Financial Wellbeing Challenge.

4 Getting Started Things to think about…
Pick a coordinator or coordinators. Create sign ups/registration sheets. Identify if there will be a specific kick off for this event and if so, what will it include. What is a good incentive that will motivate employees to participate? Who is eligible to participate? (employees, family members) Encourage participants to select the appropriate small changes that work best for them. Choose a method to promote the challenge ( , newsletter, intranet, bulletin board). Decide on additional activities.

Because this added stress can distract for the job responsibilities and obligations, workers are now looking to employers for help in managing the overall financial wellness. Join the Financial Wellbeing Challenge to become involved in the management of your current finances and actively plan for a stable future.

6 Instructions (Participant)
Sign up to participate and encourage your coworkers to join the fun! Answer the questions of the Self Assessment. Put your name on your tracking form. Track your progress: Choose the five small changes that you would like to focus on for this challenge. Log the date that you complete each Small Change activity on the tracking form. Your goal is to complete at least FIVE Small Change activities FIVE times each during the challenge. Submit your completed tracking form to _________________ by the challenge end date ________________.

Are you mindful of your day to day spending habits? Have you prepared for emergencies or unexpected financial obligations? Have you established financial goals and making progress to achieve them? Can you enjoy life without a significant financial set back? What concerns you about your financial stability? Do you have a clear understanding of what you NEED and what you want? Do you have a budget?

11 Financial Review your budget and take stock of your investments – are you saving enough and investing wisely. Determine new ways to cut unneeded expenses – pick one to start practicing. Talk to a financial counselor. Use your EAP if you have one.
