2. Ephesians 6:1-3 1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER (which is the first commandment with a promise), 3 SO THAT IT MAY BE WELL WITH YOU, AND THAT YOU MAY LIVE LONG ON THE EARTH.

To show respect and love
To care for them as long as they need us
To seek to bring them honor to them by the way we live

How to gain more freedom? Show that you can be responsible with the freedom you’ve already been given.
