You can access Blackboard as well as all other UWL services via the Portal at: Portal.uwl.ac.uk

Module study guides
Course announcements
Assignments
Resources and materials (Including reading lists)
Recorded lectures (if applicable)
Blackboard is UWL's virtual learning environment, and is a hub for all course and module related information as well as pastoral and support information and material. Students should regularly check for announcements on their homepage sent by their lecturer as this is the where information will be posted.
Any resources and course materials will be avaliable on blackboard, including module study guides, Assignments (for students to submit to), Powerpoints, materials. reading lists, recorded lectures (if applicable). 

4. Turnitin Originality checking and online grading software.
Turnitin assignments and feedback available with blackboard course.
Allow plenty of time for resubmissions, it takes 24 hours for originality report results on all Turnitin resubmissions. (first submission can take just a few minutes).
Assignment feedback will be available 15 working days from the deadline.
If lecturer opts for Turnitin and sets assignments to 'Allow resubmission until due date' students will be allowed to continuously resubmit their assignments if they find a high originality report results (this refers to the amount of text that has been deemed as copied by Turnitin). However, students should be aware that if they choose to resubmit they will have to wait a full 24 hours before they receive an updated originality report.
