Storyboard Origins The storyboarding process, in the form it is known today, was developed at the Walt Disney studio during the early 1930s.

So What is a Storyboard? Storyboards are graphic organizers, such as a series of illustrations or images, displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture.

How to Create a Storyboard
Draw each scene to get your ideas from your mind to paper. Include camera movements and actor directions. The drawing does not have to be perfect. Use the Lesson 2 Student Guide for help.

Tips for Storyboards Include only critical information.
Design the board for ease of comprehension & readability. Make the purpose of the project readily apparent Avoid jargon when possible

Review the sample school commercials. Mind map the final idea to create pieces of commercial. Create a script for your commercial. Storyboard the commercial. Film the commercial. Edit the commercial.
