A definition of the question or issue to be investigated, including the location of the fieldwork investigation.

4 What are you investigating? State the question
Put the question in context of your study What are your aims? Location of investigation  What is the greater Houston area like? What are opportunities/ barriers to sustainability Where are you investigating within Katy– including focused area of study. Include annotated maps showing area investigated e.g. a map locating the whole city (annotate land area, location of the historic downtown, shopping areas, new housing developments, older housing developments and other significant areas of Katy). Locational context – i.e. what is Katy/ Houston like? Make sure this is focused on ideas that would be relevant to explaining sustainability . e.g. size, function, attractions, climate and economic status. Theory: MAKE SURE YOU SOURCE ALL WEBSITES, BOOKS USED FOR YOUR BIBLIOGRAPHY What scales may we study? What are appropriate sustainable EGAN wheel  Sub-questions How are you investigating? What are your 2-3 subsidiary questions, how do they relate to your question? What do you expect to find? (base on theory not prior knowledge of Galveston) REMEMBER YOU HAVE A WORD LIMIT – WE WOULD RECOMMEND 300 WORDS FOR THE INTRODUCTION
