2. STEP 1- Think it!
My invention stops the trash that people throw out the window of their cars from going into the drains on the sides of roads. It also stops balls from going down the drain. This prevents the loss of children’s balls and other toys and prevents pollution of the ground water, which may end up in rivers, streams, and the ocean causing harm to fish and other animals.

3. Step 2- Explore it! Inlet Guard Can be Driven Over.
Used on Street, Combination, and Trench Drains.
Helps Prevents Flooding and Pooling.
Easy to Install.
Allows a Large Flow of Water to Flow Through.
Effectively Blocks Dirt, Trash, Sediment, and Oil.

6. Step 4- Create it!
First, I went to the store, and I bought the supplies I needed.
Next, I took three pvc pipes and drilled holes every 2 inches.
Then, I took some string and put it through every hole.
After, that I took the pvc pipes, and I put glue on the pipes and stuck them in T connectors.

8. Step 5- Try it!
The first time I tried, my invention failed. The ball went through it.
After that, we made some adjustments, it worked.

9. Step 6 Tweak it!
My dad and I drilled some holes in the pvc pipes and put strings through the holes.

10. Step 7 Sell It!
