1 3-coordinate Coastal Radar with Multi-beam Active Phased Array
(COAST-APA)

2 Radar purpose : COAST-APA radar is designed for air and surface surveillance, and can be used both stand-alone and as the part of an integrated system of coastal surveillance. Performs automatic detection, track initiation and tracking of air targets at high, medium and low altitudes and surface targets under heavy interference conditions. It provides continuously updated data for the azimuth, elevation and range. Space surveillance using multi-beam radiation pattern provides maximum values of elevation in the field of view, high-speed data update of the targets coordinates and effective operation under difficult interference conditions.  It can be performed in a stationary or mobile variants. .  .

3 TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
1. Frequency band C-band (NATO G-band) 2. Elevation coverage up to 60° (depending on operational mode) 3. Altitude coverage up to 20 km 4. Operational modes: - Ultra-Long-Range mode instrumental range up to 180 km Long-Range mode instrumental range up to 128 km Medium-Range mode instrumental range up to 64 km - Short-Range mode instrumental range up to 32 km 5. Rotation speed ; 30 r.p.m. 6. Beam width (at -3dB): - Vertical (elevation) θε ° - Horizontal θβ ° 7. RMS tracking error - in range < 15 m - in bearing < 2.5 mrad - in elevation < 7 mrad 8. Maximum number of tracked targets ≥ 200

5 Radar technical capabilities :
Digital generation of multi-beam radiation pattern.   Automatic detection and tracking (track-while scan): - air and surface targets; - fast supersonic missiles; - small-size high-speed surface targets in strong sea clutter. A high rate of reaction for the detection of dangerous targets.   Effective suppression of interference from the sea, rain, underlying surface and dipoles.  Adapting of surveillance modes to different target and noise conditions.   Doppler filters set for suppressing clutter from the sea surface, hydrometeors and dipoles.  Separate processing channels for air and surface targets with adaptive detection thresholds. High resistance to electronic jamming.   Detection of bursts on the sea from the projectile breaks.  Built-in control equipment. Friend or foe recognition of the detected targets.
