19 ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT The students will be allowed to go to the library and computer lab during academic enrichment. This is also a time for the students to receive help in various academic areas. Passes will be given for students to visit other teachers on the team for extra support. It is also a time for silent reading and working on homework.

20 CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR PLAN
Chewing gum at Linglestown Middle School is up to the individual teachers. Class Dojo will be used for most offenses. If a student receives more than one -1 during a period they may be written up for that class. Talking in class Getting out of your seat without permission Passing notes Causing distractions Not following classroom rules

21 Classroom Behavior Continued
Write-ups” - These are given for more serious offenses. Continually disrupting class Ignoring the teacher Talking back, swearing, bullying, pushing, etc. Using your cell phone without teacher permission When a teacher “writes up” a student, the paper is turned into the principal for review. This usually results in an after school detention but can also result in ISS or OSS depending on the offense. Parents will be notified if their child is written up.
