2. Warm up – 10-31-16 Fill out your agendas Grab a copy of the following:
Heating Earth’s Surface Lab
Yellow = CLASS COPY Graphing the Atmosphere
Graphing the Atmosphere student sheet
Preview the lab by reading what we will be doing, then read the yellow sheet to recall background information on the atmosphere

3. Heating earth’s surface lab
Set up lab station and gather time 0 data
Complete the “Graphing Atmospheric Temps” while you wait the 5 minutes for the next data point.
When you finish the lab:
Dump the water cup only
Take out the thermometers
Zero out your timer

4. Warm up – 11/3/16 Turn in all assignments
Heating the Earth lab – COMPLETED! TEST GRADE!

Read the article – annotate – tape onto page 72
Page 71 make a cycle diagram of the Carbon Cycle
Aka – how does oxygen and carbon dioxide cycle through the atmosphere
I will come around and stamp the following:
Page 68 = Smog City Questions
Page 70 = Paideia Reflection & annotated article
Page 69 – Glue down the “% Composition of Exhaled Air” and complete using the textbook as a resource!

5. Water Cycle Diagram
On page 74 of your science notebooks create a color diagram of the water cycle. Be sure to have the following:
Evaporation – label and define; describe humidity
Condensation – label and define; draw various types of clouds and label them
Precipitation – label and define; list out and draw all the types of precipitation we experience
Label and color water bodies and land masses
Use the textbook to help you find all this information 
