Provide client with three main services : 1- Measurements while drilling. 2-Logging while drilling. 3-Directional drilling
In MWD : To measure formation properties (E.g. resistivity and gamma ray)
In LWD : Acquisition of petrophysical data
In DD : Controlling the direction and deviation of wellbore to predetermined underground target or location

LWD: to describe the systems and techniques for gathering downhole data while drilling a well
