3. The bodies of all plants and animals are made up of tiny living units (like building blocks) called cells. Most plants and animals’ bodies have millions of cells. There are many different types of plant and animal cells.

4. Plant cells
Chloroplasts- full of chlorophyll, which traps light needed for photosynthesis
Mitochondria-respiration happens in these
Nucleus-controls what the cell does
Cell wall- covers the membrane and gives strength to the cell
Cell
membrane- controls what gets in and comes out of the cell
Vacuole-large space full of fluid
Cytoplasm- lots of membranes, made from proteins and fats

5. Animal cells
Cell membrane – controls what goes in and what comes out of the cell
Nucleus –controls what the cell does and carries the genetic information
Cytoplasm- all chemical reactions happen in here
