Recent researches on information retrieval and machine learning have proposed approaches to address this problem
language modeling approach, statistic-based topic modeling approach, manual and automatic thesauri technique, and local context analysis technique
Can help to discover the similar or relevant topics from huge amount of data
Can help to cluster the concepts from a set of documents under the same topic into a knowledge structure

5. Our Approach
Our approach combines manual and automatic thesauri technique, local context analysis technique, and statistical topic modeling approach within a language model framework, to discover the same or similar concepts or topics from a large document collection that is managed or stored in Web or a document management environment in enterprise level, such as DocuShare.
