2. What Is Amethyst?
Amethyst is a type of purple quartz and it is used in jewelry. It is made out of Silicon Dioxide. It is rated a 7 on the hardness scale and it has a glossy luster and a Conchoidal fracture.

3. What does amethyst do?
Amethyst can supposedly relieve headaches and stress because of vibrations and it’s magnetic field. It is also supposed to enhance psychic powers of all kinds.

4. where does amethyst get its color?
Amethyst gets its color from high energy radiation (gamma rays from radioactivity) and iron built into its crystal structure.

Amethyst is a purple quartz that is a 7 on the hardness scale. It is supposed to help relieve headaches and stress. It is also supposed to do other spiritual things (which are probably placebos).
