3. The general requirements are; 18 years of age
The Monroe Fire Department will be recruiting six paid-on-call firefighters for a recruit class beginning September 22nd.
The general requirements are; 
18 years of age
Live in the Monroe Fire District
Must pass a department physical exam and drug screen Agree to a comprehensive background check
All required training will be provided. Starting wage is $13.00 per hour with increases awarded based upon certification levels attained. (All training and response hours paid at this rate)
