Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the waters.

I am that I am God’s existence is uncaused God is the uncaused first cause Who logically must exist for anything to exist. All else that exists was created by God. Only God Himself is or can be self-existent.

Ps 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God. Deut 33:27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are His everlasting arms…

26 4. The one true God is infinite (unlimited in time, space, power, knowledge etc)
1 Kings 8:23, 27 And Solomon said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart… But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain Thee; how much less this house that I have builded? Jeremiah 23:24 Do not I fill heaven and earth? Saith the Lord

27 5. The one true God is immutable (never changes)
Heb 1:10-12 …in the beginning hast Thou laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the same; and thy years shall not fail. Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and for ever.

28 6. The one true God is inscrutable (God is unquestionable in his inexplicable and mysterious ways)
(Abraham pleads for Sodom) Gen 18:25 Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? Job 40:2, 8 Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who accuses God answer him! Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself?

When tragedies and sufferings take place, we often ask, WHY? No need to feel guilty when we ask this question. Our guilt only begins when our request that God explain becomes a demand that He must explain and we begin to accuse Him of being unjust if He does not.

30 7. The one true God is love 1 John 4:7-9 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
